Regulatory compliance and financial reporting valuations

Our professionals bring a breadth of experience and technical prowess to the challenge. Steeped in traditional finance and working in new areas of the field, we offer a range of solutions to valuation problems for financial reporting and regulatory compliance.

So . . . what is the challenge and how do we meet it?

Employee stock options granted, intangible assets acquired, intangible assets or goodwill impaired . . . anywhere a transaction or change becomes part of the subject company’s financial statements for public reporting purposes, a valuation is required by the regulators and overseen by the auditors. Governed by the Fair Value standard of value as defined in Statement of Financial Accounting Standards No. 157, “Fair Value Measurement,” these valuations are complex and challenging.

Whether it be accounting, attest, taxation, management strategies, or knowledge of the markets, we can call on our firm’s cadre of specialists to provide the additional insights we need to address these complexities and supplement our own expertise.

In this case, more is more.
