Buy Now, Pay Uncle Sam Never!

Have you been working with older technology equipment or the previous version of software in an attempt to save cash? If so, you may change your mind knowing the US government has a tax incentive for small businesses that spend less than $2 million annually on “personal property” (such as computer equipment, furniture, and fixtures with multi-year value).

Section 179 of the Small Business Jobs and Credit Act of 2010 allows for $500,000 to be fully deducted from 2010 income rather than a multi-year depreciation of the assets. Beyond $500,000 of spending there are benefits at reduced savings rates.

The fine print: You must purchase and use the equipment/software before your New Year champagne toast.

Taunton, MA (March 20, 2008) — Due to significant recent growth, Braver Technology Solutions has relocated to a state-of-the-art location in Taunton.
