Managing Director
Mike joined Braver in 2004 and serves as a managing director of the management consulting enterprise. Mike’s function is to aid clients in increasing market share, net profit improvement as well as family/partnership issues, and has significant experience in difficult turnaround scenarios. With over twenty years of experience in consulting and venture capital, Mike specializes in positioning companies for sale to maximize their value.
He is one of the founders of Nolan Brown Partners, LLC. He has owned and operated his own manufacturing company positioning it to sell in a five-year timeframe and then successfully sold it to a large privately held firm. He has recently served as the Chief Operating Officer for a publicly traded medical device manufacturer.
With manufacturing expertise and the ability to find and develop new markets, Mike has been of great help to a number of clients throughout the northeast in a wide variety of manufacturing and distribution settings.
Mike has taken companies on the verge of being auctioned and successfully positioned and marketed these companies to allow the ownership a dignified exit strategy and elimination of personal indebtedness. His “hands-on, no-nonsense” approach in these situations has made him a go-to person for banks, law firms and troubled business owners.
Mike earned his MBA at the University of Kentucky. He holds a BA in Government from Bates College and served as a regular army airborne infantry officer in Vietnam.
