Culture
At Braver, you are important.
Our environment, rich with interesting and challenging work, allows for communication and sharing of ideas across the firm. You don’t need to go through a “chain of command” to communicate with upper-level staff or shareholders of the firm. You aren’t just a number at Braver. Your professional growth is our # 1 priority.
You can expect a commitment from the firm to assist you in your professional growth.
- Learning and development program that includes well more than the required hours and focuses on both technical and business skills training.
- All employees are paired with both a mentor & career advisor
It is well known that during the first four months of every year, most public accounting firms go into what they call “busy season,” focusing on audits and taxes at the exclusion of all other activities. At Braver, we prefer to call it “Opportunity Season” — a time when the staff continues to have fun, and have the opportunity to learn and help clients.
- Happy Hours on Friday nights
- Breakfast and lunch on Saturdays
- March Madness on the flat screen television
Giving back to the community is also important to our success. Our firm has the second highest participation in MSCPA and we encourage our employees in becoming involved in community organizations through volunteerism. We also support committee or board membership and making a positive impact in the community.
