Not-for-Profit
At Braver, we recognize that not-for-profit organizations face financial and organizational challenges that are similar to those in the for-profit world, as well as those that are unique to their field. With our expertise, we can help you address them.
In addition to being advocates, offering cultural programs and providing services that enhance and stabilize communities, not-for-profit organizations are a growing sector of the economy with their own set of managerial challenges. Braver recognizes that managing growth, both in terms of revenues and people, is important for any not-for-profit to achieve its mission and goals.
Braver’s professionals offer strategic and tactical guidance to help not-for-profit institutions manage and sustain their growth while continuing to provide the services their communities need. Additionally, Braver provides advice on not-for-profit governance practices, identifying best practices across similar organizations. Whether your association is volunteer-driven or fully-staffed, Braver can help you navigate through your financial and organizational needs to ensure that you are achieving the best results.
As we do with all of our clients, we will work with you, your management team and board to provide guidance and advice in supporting your growth and future. At Braver, it’s the way we do business that makes the difference.
Braver PC is the first for-profit organization to sponsor a report with the Boston Foundation. The Boston Foundation released research in March, 2009 on the nonprofit sector that offers a first-ever examination of the state of employee benefits. It was designed to create benchmarks for the sector that identifies the types and costs of employee benefits. The report is entitled For the Benefit of Our Workers: The Massachusetts Nonprofit Employee Benefit Study.
